Two veterans going head to head. To title contenders. This is top tier east coast vs top tier west coast. Both came up through Grind Time in battle rap. We need to see this battle. I expect allot of great rapping.
Great side from Pass
I liked Cortez haymakers more but I felt he was doing some rhyming for nothing
Ice chain line was cold
Edge to Pass
2nd round Pass goes in
Calls for Title and it was
Loved the round in here
Cortez rounds
Kawai laugh lol
I liked the angle Cortez about the styles of Pass
3rd round
Going in on his heritage I liked the real talk angle he hit
He went in on some race shit
Cortez had a great battle round in on Pass career and messing up on URL
ROund Both of them came great. Both did what they do. I liked Dialects approach better he was more direct and harder punches. Loso displays great writing but hes really just throwing jabs at his opponent
Edge to Dialect
Round 2 Dialect goes in with some nice punches on a rhyme scheme Had some good jokes
I don't get the race angle Funny but didn't fit his opponent
He ended strong going on hard on Dialects career
This is really a close one
Hated the beginning loved the ending. Except I hate his violent stuff
Round 3
I like when Dialect shows delivery with the Grime
Had some great lines in there
A little slip up but it was cool
The Ark line was cold
Loso finally really went personally and had some cold shit
Never heard of Bandana Boogie. Ty Law basically a vet in the business. I remember him from GT,
Round 1Bandana started slow but was quiet killing it Ty Law started fire but had to have a couple restarts in the middle of the verse Either way on the decision
Round 2
Bandana Boogie had a great start but he made his end bad. He should have just ended the round instead of continuing to try because that's all you remember on the round Ty Had a couple slip ups but good great closer edge to him
Round 3 This beat was perfect for Boogie His flow is great on it. Some nice punches. His best verse of the 3 easily
Good verse from Ty Law But not as smooth of a flow on the beat. Some nice punches on the track.
This was a back and forth battle. Hard to judge. I think Ty Law had better punches but I think Bandana Boogie sounded better on the beats. Both had restarts needed in every round. I was hoping one would have a perfect clean round to put one over the other. This is a battle where I literally could pick any of them and different times I might have a different decision
Flamez is ok. Good energy on her raps. SHe not the most lyrical but she does that street talk to em style. Breaking down theyre not real and with the shits type bars. Some clever gun bars droped in there She really started slow from about 5 mins in really picked up She got better and better throughout the round
That round was fucking fire. I've never seen Flamez before but I gotta check her out now
"..but go'head and let my size make you misjudge shit, and you'll see more pounds around you than you're used to puttin' up with!"
This pound will never give your dogs back
Great battle voice and delivery in the round. Boogie got to many people behind her kinds of gas were throw her off
She trying to chat the girls man in the battle. Hahahhaha that's funny
Punches was hit and miss. Nothing mindblowing for me.
A little slip up
"Keep throwing up blood and I can really make you spit that"
Good Friends.... Better enemies is the tag line for this battle. Gravity and Teddy KGB are too battlers who have been around for a bit and quite seasoned on this battle tip. Interesting to see what happens and how personal or not.
Round 1
Gravity started slow for me but picked up with some nice punches from the middle of it. No haymakers but some nice bars. Some funny shit in there about friendship stuff.
Ended with some real funny shit
Teddy kind of went in on breaking down Gravity. Delivery was kind of boring But his bars were killer ended heavy
Really has a thing for Teddys mom
Edge to Teddy
Round 2
Gravity had some good rhyming scheme ok jabs but no big punches
Ended better than it began Really has a thing for Teddys mom again LOL
Teddy going in on Teddy's memory with more personal breakdowns
Another win for Teddy
Round 3
Gravity was good went with the comedy. I think he made a mistake of not going personal or talking any real shit He was funny but not allot of impact
Teddy goes funny dissing Gravity about his wife. Some jokes
This was an even battle but maybe still edge to Teddy
I think Teddy took all 3 rounds on a good back and forth battle. I think his angles were much better to take
QP Vs Danny Myers is a interesting battle. Both are known as writers and punchers but they are way different styles. QP is one of the best wordplay rappers in battle rap. Danny is a big punchline haymaker type rapper. But he does allot of reaches but he's in his style and its original. I like QP more than Danny in the past
QP starts playing off Dannys #BarGod slogan. He wrote for Danny and came in with a prepared fire QP verse
QPs round was too long
Danny starts with a fire rebuttal
QP got the funniest reactions to people spitting to him
He had some fire punches
"Quentin pen got him hooked up with a drake"
Great round pretty even
QP started second round with a rebuttal
KOTD shot
Crazy Full House scheme LOL
Some cool rebuttals back from Danny
I didn't like the don't put substance in my rhymes that Danny did. He dissing himself
few reaches
"QP going to be and then what happens. Bitch you aint going to live to find out!"
Bad rebuttal by QP
But he goes in on the 3rd round
Danny had a fire round
QP has better wordplay but Danny goes at his opponents relentlessly
I don't know who I give it too. Both were in on what they do
Wasn't super impressed with this battle but Nu Jerzy Twork took this battle. QP kind of bored me in this battle and Tworks energy over powered. Both ok writing.
Did anyone really want to see this battle? Did anyone think that A1 had a chance in this battle. They are levels to this rap shit and Lev is just a different battler than A1
I will say he did better than I thought and might have taken the 2nd round.
But 1st round was Lev and that was the closest round
3rd round was clear win by Lev
So we got Lev vs Cam next.

Ok so we have A Ward vs Porich from KOTD Decade. For those that don't know, Porich is part of the foundation of KOTD and battle rap in Canada from the WRC's. He is a former KOTD champion and has arguably been robbed of wins from Soul Kahn and Dizaster.
A Ward is basically the new killer. He's been paving his way through competition the last few years. This battle is tantamount to the old school vs the new school. I am a big A Ward fan, so I do lean to that side. However Porich has energy and crowd control better than almost anyone.
Round 1.
Porich started nice. The Kid Twist shot was smart.
He went in with the wrong Alex died bar
Some of the best writing I've seen from Porich
I don't like the hard biscuit bars from A Ward
Some ok wordplay and nameflips
I actually might edge that round to Porich
Round 2
Some funny religion stuff from Porich
Probably the best I've seen vs Award
Typical battle rapper saving that performance for the ring
I liked A Ward rehash of history Really funny
The Charron shot was good
Lyricallly he really went in on Porich
But I might have enjoyed Rich better. This was a real even round.
Round 3
THis was a good round from Porich Nothing mindblowing but very good
Ended it
This is the best Porich I've ever seen battle. He really stepped up for this This was a bad round for A ward a couple slip ups messed his momentum of what would be a strong round.
I actually might edge the battle to Porich. Let me know if you agree or disagree
Finaly this battle happens. Two of the biggest names in the new wave of Michigan battle rap go head to head. We got Shotti P vs Tez Chasin. I've always wondered with the Dolla connection why Tez wasn't a Top Gunna. I have to say going into the battle my preference was to Shotti P. This is fucking wrong to be a 1 round battle. This needed to be a real full battle.
Shotti didn't really start as punch heavy as I expected but some good shit
He really goes in after awhile
Pops with the cans... Bobby Hill// dammmm
Tez did a funny impersonation
Wow the best I've seen him do were the bars in that impersonation
He ended the round really well
I put in work and let the dot come to me. Bored nigga waiting on the lyft driver
This was one of the better Tez Chasin battles and it was real close could go either way. But edge the battle to Shotti P
Ok so we got a grudge match between Shooney da Rapper and QB Black Diamond. Neither has been my favorite rapper but I had edged my prediction to QB.
I have to admit Shooney was fire vs 40
1st
Shooney went in with some fire shit but had a few slip ups
QB started fire but then just went through with a bunch of nameflips
Qb then went into her bag with the disrespectful shit. But lyrically it was meh...
I edge that round to Shooney
2nd
Shooney kind of did a rebuttal to start the 2nd which was cool
The bars afterward were meh...
But picked up when she was you look dirty lol and talk about her brother
The offensive lines is kind of played
QB flips were nice
A couple of slip ups again with Shooney
QB going in hard on the 2nd round
Probably one of the best breakdowns on the men shooney fucked schemes
QBs Shoe flips are the worst
Edge to QB
3rd
Shooney again did a flip which I really like
She came with a nice round like the first.
She goes personal with crossing a supposed line
I dont like the disrespectful shit but facing QB you gotta do it I guess
QB had a good round but nothing room shaking except going in on Fetti
And some of it didn't seem to rhyme
She ended strong in the round
This was the closest round and could have gone either way
Edge to Shooney
I was not anticipating this battle but it was fire as fuck! A great back and forth.Shooney has found her bag in writing but she really needs to perfect her performance and she'll be a killer
Ok battle Melato took awhile to warm up. More talk then rap for the first half. But the 2nd half was gettting hot I don't know what ups with Lady Caution SHe had some ok energy but really no bars the writing was mediocre Melato Black wins
619! #California 's most disrespectful emcee went to toe to toe with one of #NewYork 's absolute best on October 28th in #SanDiego and it was an insane main event!
OK so if you are a battle rap fan and haven't been checking the battles from Verbal Warzone Battle League then you are missing out and behind the times. So VWZ take the battle rap back to essence of hip hop and rap by doing the battles over the beat. I love the format and I think it's another level to battle. I have to admit 2019 getting on this platform I die to get on.
Check out some of the battles and subscribe.
Who would you love to see on this platform?
Dre Dennis B has a great one with Bill Collector. Bill collector in his lane with these battles. Did a whole song dissing Dre Dennis
"We liked you betta as a fat nigga!"
Cortez has been one of the best battlers on tracks for years. He's a rappers rapper. I think this shows where he is in his best. Depending how much they pay he need to be a king of this league. Buttah is a mid tier rapper who has been putting work on this league. Also battle Swave Sevah. He's battled in many leagues. I like him better here than accapella leagues.
THis was nice from the females I think Charisma was more consistent Coffee Brown had more big moments. I'm a bit bias on this mattle I'm a big Coffee fan #CLO
This was the first battle from the league that I watched. Audio got better and so has the names
So this was was a old battle Cruger released. 1st round I didn't like LMS angle but he had better punches
I like Jonny Vosss angle but didn't have as good punches
I like LMS 2nd round better
But LMS going real personal
Voss has an angle but hes kind of missing on some of the punches not quite funny but it was ok Wow I am suprise LMS went the sister route with the pictures. He could in trouble for sharing that.
This was kind of meh....
Neither of them had any really hard bars Really basic almost freestyle worthy jokes.
Ms Deequah had much better writing. OG Purple had the better delivery.
I don't know who Id give it to as neither was great.
I edge to Ms Deequah as she was better writer and OG purple was gassed and didn't deserve. The girl that jumped in was the best in the whole battle. You can't have someone jump in on your battle and do better than you. So OG lose for that
This battle was hard for me to watch. These are two of the most overrated rappers in the top tier echelon. I find DNA so basic in reach worthy. And Twork is mostly performance and haymakers but overall his material is blah....
Check out this fire battle from Beast Mode Battles
This was a great version of Esem. He didn't really have his normal slip ups and chokes and was hilarious. Sweeney was good as well. I think he started out better than he finished. I edge the battle to Esem.
Check out a fine tuned Oshea in top form body a not bad Danny Jaqq. Oshea was in his bag for this. But I give Danny first round and Oshea last 2 rounds
