So we finally got the title match Chilla Jones championing Head Ice. Interesting matchup I find Chilla Jones is mighty with the pen but not as good as Ice with the performance or crowd control.
I think the new champion mystique is off of Ice so it will be a fair match up.

So Mz Undastood is a true MC she can freestyle has a little nice flow great crowd control. The only issue is her bars can sometimes seem basic. Gucci is a vet who has a nice pen if she can tie it in with the projection and delivery it would be much stronger

This round easily went to Gucci. This round exposed the weakness in Miss Undastoods pen and the strength of guccis on a different level.
Miss Undastood might have hit Gucci with Chess favorite haymaker. His reaction interrupted the battle

I liked that she mentioned how all the other QOTR rappers sound pretty much the same. That's facts
Gucci rapping too fast delivery was off but had better pen Good no cursing but wasn't smooth

Miss Undastood had some big moments and dry moments. She really gotta just tighten up the pen and master the freestyle that she do

So I didn't know this battle was happening. I guess this was the last minute GZ representation of Decade. We got two of the hottest upcoming names going against each other
Joey Gambello coming to GZ through BeastMode and Red Flag coming through IBattle.
I am much more familiar with Joey than Red Flag but heard about him.
Overall this battle was both of them coming really well and I think you will edge it to whoever s style you like better.
I edge it to Red Flag. I think Joey the far superior rapper but I feel his style with the drug talk Id much rather hear on a track. Red Flag was much more direct with his attack which is how I like my battls done

I am one to admit I didn't have high hopes for this battle. I am not a follower of Bad Newz and not really a fan of Tay Roc. I have recently been saying how much I HATE 1 round battles so that was another X on this battle.
Then I watched the battle. This was fire. I am not a gun bar type guy but ill bars are ill bars.
Bad Newz came with his shit. His shots at Surf and Cave gang were all haymakers and fit in his attack on Tay Roc.
Tay Roc was a good version of Tay Roc. He came out with fire gun bars and some nice flips back to back.
I am probably the only that actually liked Bad Newz better. I think his setups were better and much smoother than Tay Rocs.
Why do I like Tay Roc better when he's not on the Smack stage?
Finally we got the Math Hoffa vs Hollow the Don Grudge match. Former friends and members of NYB. They had a falling out after the Math vs Dizaster situation, and Math didn't like how Hollow still fucked with Diz after. There was allot of talk on Math winning first watch but I didn't see it live or on paperview.
Hollow the Don to me is the GOAT in the league era of battle rap. That would be with GT/KOTD/URL led era. Math is the debatable top tier of the era, the bully of the era and one who I think is very underrated due to some big losses.

I'm not going to do round for round. I think the battle was too close. Both these guys went in on each other. Both rebuttaling every round. Danny won the rebuttal contest in it. Stacks had some great shit hitting all points you will get on Danny. Danny went in way more than most vets do. You can tell he researched or follows the local scene with the shit he came with. They actually are very similar stylistically.
They would make a incredible 2 on 2 team with the energy
My new favorite league coming back with the battle of Swave Sevah vs Pep. Should be good as Swave a real MC. I don't know Pep but I expect allot for them to set this up
