30 day Life Change

So I've been through the first week of the lifestyle transformation starting with my 30 day challenge. I haven't had a drink of coke since Sunday night. I am on day 5 of my 30 day pushup, abs and squat challenge. The coke has been difficult. Of course no real changes from the work out yet.
On self analyzing I have realized I care WAY to much about what people think of me. Even peoples whos opinion shouldn't matter. That will be one major change I am looking to work on. Push to be more of my own person.  It might cause me to lose a friend or two, however if it does, you were not really a friend in the first place.

Thanks for all the encouragement. Its greatly appreciated and yes is needed. Any support or advice you can give is welcomed.

Pictures will come in the upcoming weeks

Mumbles 2.0 Day 2 30 Day Challenge

So yesterday was my first day without a coke to drink. I've gone a day without a coke before, but knowing I couldn't have a coke made it very difficult. Allot of water was drunk all throughout the day, but made it through lol.

When I got home I did about a 20 minute jog ( Not sure of the distance).

I have also completed Day 1 of the PushUp Squat Abs Challenge.  We will see what kind of shape I am in after these first 30 days.

I will be posting up my measurements later so I can see the actual gain I make.

Mumbles 2.0: THe Beginning of the Journey

So I did a post on Facebook about me making some lifestyle changes. These changes will be in health, wealth, renewing my faith in God, and the people I choose to associate with and how I choose to associate with them. It is time for a different energy in my life. It's time to take back power over my life

Today I am embarking on my journey with some health changes. Yesterday was the last coke I am drinking for the next 30 days. For those who have known me, they know this is a very big deal. I've had some type of pop almost everyday since I was a kid. It is my major addiction.  But I can't even let that have power over me. I have given up other vices that we might discuss later. Some people didn't even know I have But I do, so I will change it.

I will also be starting my work out plan today with some jogging after work. I am not sure what programs I am going to do to work out. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I will be posting up pics and other information as my journey goes forward. I will falter here and there on my journey, but at the end of the day my goal is just to produce a better Philip for me and my kids.

STRIKE, FOREVER ‘BUILDING ON SOUNDS’**

Strike is a UK hip-hop artist that proves that he is a poetic, syllable beast with a unique blend
between U.K. and U.S. musical style. Originally born and raised in Reading, Berkshire he is
now based in East-London. He is releasing a three track EP that displays his versatility and
word play. This will be the first of two EP’s he will release in 2017.

The lead track ‘Carousel’ was co-produced by Alex Murphy, a university friend and would be
described as a poetic love song that is bound to paint warm image in your mind on those cold
nights. The video, shot in Southampton follows Strike pursuing his love interest as they flirt
and play in the woods and along the cold shore.
‘I Don’t Really Care’ shows what it means to attack a grime track and still manages to give
you a catchy and playful vibe. This track is accompanied with a lyric video in which the
graphic looked amazingly sketched over.
Last but not least ‘Sip of You’ was co-produced with newbie producer Mark Montague a.k.a.
Mark 1 from South-London. The video has that old school 90’s R&B vibe mixed with new
school graphics as we watch the beautiful video girl getting ready for her date.
The videos have all been created by the amazingly talented George Kountouras a freelance
film maker that did a great job of bring Strike’s music to life visually. The EP was mixed by
MOBO award winning, Grammy nominated engineer Clinton 'Ubiquity' McCreery.

Recently Strike has been slaving away producing new songs for himself and other artist. One
artist in particular is Albert Gold, a soul singer from Hackney managed by Fierce Panda.
Albert has been working hard on his EP titled ‘Oxygen’ named after the lead track that was
co-written with Sacha Skarbek and Tom Baxter in Kensaltown Studios. Strike produced the
two other songs ‘Another Love’ and ‘Until The End’ which they wrote together. The last track
is a remix by Happy Cat Jay. Albert’s EP is out 28th April 2017.

If you haven’t seen Strike live be sure to check out his Youtube channel and watch him play
keyboard and guitar with his band while he raps!
He recently opened up for Marco Mestichella at the Cavendish Arms at his launch event and
is now working on new live videos.

Next gig is the 28th May at The Great British Tattoo Show, (Alexandra Palace, London) on at 12:30pm GMT

InderPaul Sandhu is a first generation Christian, meeting Christ 7 years ago in a barber shop music has been a tremendous tool that God has used to shape his life. The man that was born to a Sikh father and Hindu mother, now wants to be used by God to help usher people from his own community towards the Lord. In particular Asian youth, he says I remember watching stars in their eyes when I was ten years old and this little white kid sung puppy love. Everyone was watching it in awe and I remember saying I wish I could do that. My godmother than asked me why I couldnt? And I replied her because I was indian. She then told me that talent didnt have any color he then went onto say I know I aint the only indian kid thats felt like that. InderPaul strongly believes God has made him a niche for a niche community and that music is how he is going to impact his community and generation.

@KingOfTheDot - Rap Battle - @NessLee vs @Pass510| #BO7 Review

Round 1
I liked the Yung Ill simple call out
That would have been a horrible one sided match for Pass
Pass nothing specific crazy but great multi rhyme schemes and flow
Unpop your memory scheme was sweet

Nice diss on Ness on Interscope everyone does it but it was done well

P nut vs Ness Lee would have been crazy as well They would have matched up well

I have to say I liked how Ness Lee starts with a rebuttal. This one wasn't too hard or crazy but it was funny simple and spit smoothly went over well

Ness also came with some amazing delivery and multi flows done well a few slipups

Round 1 Edge to Pass in this round

Round 2
The Cancer line and setup was amazing
Pass continued with the schemes
A pretty strong round Nice clean verse

I didn't get the rebuttal from Ness
He good at mixing some jokes and bars here

Everyone mentions the Hollow shit but his simple breakdown was funny and true career wise
hahaha You lost to Bishop what the hell is wrong with you

We feel like ROasting Bring that ass here boy' lol

This one harder as I think they went over different approaches. I think Ness more versatile and had a clean verse
Edge to Ness

Maybe Draw

Round 3
 Pass with some jokes
Hello Dark Ness my old friend hahhaha
Started strong like when he did the Out ness you
ended kind of mehh....

Ok dumb it down rebuttal
Goes in on Bender
Calling for the chain was nice
The Pass scheme was the best I've heard and ended the battle

I have to give the battle edge to Ness Lee
Pass edge the 1st Ness edge the 2nd and take the 3rd

#DatKingShhh @KingOfTheDot Presents @Al_Bender Vs @pnutCA #GanikVsGully

This was the most  one sided battle for the GanikVsGully  event. It pitted Gullys ringer of the team. P But vs Ganiks big dog and return of one the best Canadian MCs Bender.
P Nut though on Team Gully is an actual veteran on this shit. He been doing this on the West Coast since the beginning of Grind Time.
Bender had taken some time off battling but after the battle with Fredo looked like he was making a return.

We also got a surprise return from KOTDs villain Loe Pesci.
The things I didn't really like was that it wasn't Bender at his best. Which would have led to a debatable classic.
And the fact so many "fans" seemed to not who Loe Pesci was.  Really????

The decision on this one was easy to make and it was a clear win by P Nut

KLBL Kaboom vs @Real_DealRaps #TheColdFront @CasdaluchiEnt

We got another heater from the new fire league out of Philly Krack Liberty.
It places Philly veteran Kaboom with Pittsburgh battle legend Real Deal.

Real Deal I've been a big fan of. He was a bit off 2014, 2015. However he's been a killer for 2016.

I'm saying Kaboom is nice and got crazy flow like all Philly rappers but his bars are mehh...

Real Deal was to much for him in this one
